The Rostov-on-Don Airport – Platov in Russia is the new airport that was opened on December 7, 2017 in place of the old airport. Built within the program of preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The “Platov” Airport is the first airport in modern Russian history built from scratch. “Platov” is the largest airport in the Federal District of southern Russia. Line № 285: Airport “Platov” – Privokzalnaya Square, ticket cost 95 rubles (€ 1.5 approx)
Line № 286: Airport “Platov” – Oktiabrskaya Square, ticket cost 75 rubles (€ 1 approx)
Privokzalnaya Square and Oktiabrskaya Square are the largest transport centers of Rostov-on-Don, from there you can continue your journey taking other means of transport. During the trip both buses make the minimum number of stops, the travel time is approximately 1h.
The bus routes to the airport “Platov” will work throughout the day.
The traffic interval on these routes will be from 30 to 40 minutes depending on the time of day.
